Ah, Well. No reunion

Ah, well. It was a good try and fun to think about. So nothing wasted. For reasons beyond my control, nothing serious really, just, ...you know..., it won't work.

I was glad having each of you in my thoughts and compiling a pretty complete list of former fellow TheFarians.

If you still want that list, the ones that were there when you were and the ones that came before and after you, let me know. I can easily send it to you.

We can let each other know what's up and what we're doing on the blog

the contest

Here's the contest. Guess how many people think the TheFar reunion is this summer instead of in the summer of 2009.

Here's how it will work. I'll keep track of the people who tell me they think it's this year, people who ask me about it, and, sigh, how many actually show up.

The contest ends this summer. The reunion is in the summer of 2009.

Just a head start. Three people have already said they're looking forward to it this summer.

In case there's a tie, the name of the winner will be drawn from a wooden bowl. The prize is 100 deerproof, heirloom, pedigreed, Appalachian daffodil bulbs.
